Mindfulness Journal, Anyone?

Have you ever considered a mindfulness journal or mindfulness journaling? Nope? You don’t know what you’re missing. I have personally done this myself, it became a daily practice where I would write down my thoughts and feelings for the day, reflect on them and notice any patterns that I was having, then reverse it. A mindfulness journal does not have to take up much time or even be very difficult. You can use a nice fancy notebook if you wish ( like I do) or write a blog, on a computer or any old scrap paper and compile  your notes together.

The benefits of mindfulness journaling or starting a mindfulness journal are amazing. When we write, we take the time to think about what we wish to say, it forces us to slow down, really be honest with ourselves, stop stressing or moving at a million miles an hour. If you’re like me this fast-pace life is a daily thing.  It’s really helps to release the stress and slow down. I’d recommend that you start today, start a mindfulness journal along with reading a mindfulness book such as Alfred James’ Mindfulness Exercises,  along with the mindfulness audio you get free with the mindfulness book and, even practice the exercises as part of your daily or weekly mindfulness journal.

  1. Oh my God! This blog is to die for lol. Anything spiritual and energy-related I am all for it. And you are so right in your blog given this Covid-19 epidemic a lot of us have lost our way. I at times tend to lose hope in this world and the people that live in it. This blog reminded me we become what we think. At this time we need to become mindful of who and what we are. I just felt calm reading your blog.

    1. Thank you for stopping by and your feedback, I am so  glad that this short article on the practice of mindfulness has helped in some way just from reading. Stay positive in this time, and take good care of you. Love and light,

  2. Hi, Thank you so very much for your amazing Article on the Practice of Mindfulness. Actually, at this time it is what everyone needs. This is the time to think about things that are profitable and leave the none profitable, clearing your mind and thereby removing stress. This practice is a lifetime thing and I will keep educating people around me. Thanks.

  3. Practice mindfulness has been the most important part of my daily routine. Before, I only use meditation (Vipassana) as a way for me to slow down and start accessing the situation around me. When I am calmer, I start seeing things clearly and stop worrying about something that I have no control of which is COVID-19 but I do have the control of the way that I think and act and also spend this time to invest in myself. So, I have been reading a lot of books and start a new hobby to better myself.

I have never read mindfulness exercises before, thank you for sharing, I will ad this to my reading list. Keeping a journal is also useful in my opinion. When you go back and read what you wrote you learn so much about yourself and do not repeat the same mistake.

    1. Yes exactly what you have said, no repeating mistakes. It’s also  great to hear that this has helped you along your way in life. Thank you for your insight.

  4. Thanks for sharing this article. Mindfulness is a very important thing in spiritual and practical terms. When you are mindful in your everyday life you are more considerate to others, more open to change around you, and more accepting of things you cannot change. Spirituality is a compass to a lost soul and this article shows why.

  5. Practicing mindfulness is definitely a useful tool to have but many fail to do so because we’ve been so conditioned to worry about past and present stressors to the point it becomes natural for us to build a mental block against mindfulness. Not only is this detrimental to our present selves, the added stress is doing our future selves absolutely zero favors. Not something we need to deal with, especially in times like these of great stress.

Practicing mindfulness is definitely the key to peace. Sure, we all have our past and future stressors, but we can also choose not to worry about them until it’s in our present moment. In the present, it isn’t time to worry yet and there’s also peace that we’re missing out on.

    1. Yes, that really is key to this remaining in the present point. Life has a way of dragging you all over the place practicing mindfulness will surely help with this and help maintain focus, as well as perspective! Thanks for your experience with this.
